Elemental Chakras
I loved creating this large Chakra painting. It was a journey as I moved through each Chakra. At the root, I could feel the earthiness, the Earth calling. The roots emerged outside of the lower circle. And as I moved up through each chakra, I could feel connection to the elemental forces of nature. Moving up from the fiery roots through the earth, up to the ground and abundant foliage, and on up to sand and sea, the water element, up into the air, the clouds, the breath and finally out into the universe and spirit as I reached the higher crown chakra.
It was a healing and empowering journey for me to create this work, and I think that energy resonates from the piece and it is my intention that it brings healing and empowerment to all those who work and come into contact with this painting.
This print would be beautiful in any home, but also fantastic in any healing, yoga or therapy room as a focal point. The original was painted on canvas using acrylic and metallic pens. The prints are Gicleé - which means beautifully printed on very high quality paper. They are best framed and you can either leave the white border or not, as you wish.
The small print measures 55cm long and 18cm wide inclusive of the white border.
The larger size measures 32cm x 112cm and makes for a stunning piece in any rooms, especially healing rooms.
