Experience Calm, Clarity & Creative Expression in a Guided Full-day Mandala Workshop
Creating space for yourself in this way is more than just a break…It is an act of self-care, awareness and transformation.
Deirdre Mulligan, participant at Mandala Workshop, Murphy's Barn, Wexford
This workshop invites you to:
- Gain clarity and insight into your life
- Experience a sense of peace and inner calm
- Reconnect with your unique place in the world
- Explore parts of yourself that may be unknown or unseen
- Feel grounded, centred and aligned
- Learn more about the history and philosophy of Mandalas
As you create your mandala, the symbols that emerge are gently explored, allowing their meaning and guidance to unfold naturally. Many participants experience moments of revelation and emotional clarity. Many have experienced the resurfacing of creativity that had been blocked which is always so wonderful to see!
You do not need to be artistic to take part. Mandalas are not about skill but rather they are about process and expression. Mandalas lie within each and every one of us. Your role is simply to show up with openness and curiosity. Everything else will unfold from there. This is a fully guided, full-day experience, carefully designed to support your inner journey.
Morning
At the beginning of the workshop we will have a welcome and introduction. I will then share my personal journey with mandalas alongside a presentation on the history and philosophy of mandalas and their various uses. We will do a gentle awareness meditation to connect with what is ready to emerge within you. I will then guide you in beginning your mandala in a quiet, reflective space with music. You’ll work in silence, allowing your intention and inner guidance to shape your creation. It is always such a powerful experience.
Lunch Break
There will be a 1-hour break for lunch. (Depending on the venue, there may be a cafe on site or you can bring your own lunch. There are more details on that in the description on the booking page for each venue.
Afternoon
After lunch, we will return to creating our mandalas, deepening into the creative flow. We will move seamlessly into a guided deep meditation to integrate and “seed” your experience. We finish with a gentle sharing circle. You are welcome to share your experience and insights, but there is no pressure to speak. Simply being present is enough.
Small, Intimate Groups
These workshops are intentionally kept small and personal, with a maximum of 13 participants. There is something powerful about doing this work in a group setting, a shared energy that supports deeper insight, connection and transformation. Time and time again, participants are surprised by the depth of clarity and wisdom that emerges.

"After drawing my circles with the compass, I relaxed into a meditative, quiet space and let my hand be guided into creating shapes and choosing the colours. In this stillness, questions, insights arose from a deep place, reminding me of what my heart and soul is really seeking. Since that day, whenever I now look at my Mandala, I am taken back to that place of stillness and centeredness. Thank you Patricia for creating that space." Noreen O'Donoghoe, participant at Mandala Workshop at The October Gallery, Russell Square, London.
