Songbird Limited Edition Print
It was so absorbing and fun to create this tropical piece! It’s called Birdsong and is mixed media on beautiful Fabriano cold pressed paper. It felt good to escape the grey weather we were having here in Ireland at the time of painting it!
It was a very intuitive and playful painting...really lifting the energy during the grey rainy days and so it was very pleasurable. In many spiritual and cultural traditions the red bird is often seen as a symbol of good luck, love, passion and determination. It is believed to bring messages of vitality, energy, and action. It certainly did for me and I hope it does for you too! Different cultures may have their own interpretations of the spiritual significance of seeing a red bird, but in general, it is often viewed as a positive and uplifting sign.
The centre of the painting feels space like, or cellular, as though connecting to something deeper within nature than what we can perceive with our eyes.
All prints are reproductions of my original works. The original piece was created using acrylic paint and metallic pens on Fabriano paper.
