Confidence
The peacock is symbolic of re-growth and rejuvenation, royalty, respect, honour, and integrity. They are also a symbol of beauty, love, and passion. In Hinduism and Buddhism, peacocks are considered to be sacred and worshipped alongside their deities.
I’m very lucky to work alongside these beautiful creatures in Marlay Park. Indeed they have often try to come into the shop! They are so very beautiful and it’s lovely to have them as neighbours.
It was an absolute pleasure to create this piece and for me it felt a lot about regaining confidence. About allowing oneself to be seen and not hiding one’s light under the proverbial bushel. So this painting is called “Confidence” and I hope that is the energy it brings to you.
