Visitation Limited Edition Print
A candle was lit and distractions were put away. I completed this watercolour painting over the threshold to the new year. It reminds me of a dream from some time back where I saw, and more importantly, felt, a beautiful radiant loving all encompassing light. Not an experience I will ever forget.
In these times when chaos is relentlessly sent our way to distract and divide, one of the most important things that you can do is tend to your soul and to stay grounded and in the heart as much as possible. Being in nature, engaging in creativity be it art, crochet, cooking, gardening…whatever your thing is, do that. Be not afraid. Allow light in.
I called this painting “Visitation”, for that is how it felt. I am grateful for the dream that inspired it, and the joy of painting it and all that the process gave.
All prints are reproductions of my original works. The original piece was created using watercolour paint, gold leaf and metallic pens on Fabriano paper.
