It was quite a journey, this piece! It began with a strong dream in which I was given the word Oddessy very clearly. It got me reading up on Homer’s Oddessey and rewatching the movie 2001 A Space Oddessey, which I found very interesting in the current times. A journey of a shift in consciousness.
We are all on a journey in life, an Oddessey, and we don’t know where the destination is, but that we are here...on this trip.
This is a quote from Homer’s Oddessey:
“God of the golden wand, why have you come? A beloved, honored friend, but it’s been so long, your visits much too rare. Tell me what’s on your mind. I’m eager to do it, whatever I can do . . . whatever can be done.”
We’re here to do whatever it is that has to be done!
So I called this piece “Oddessey”, a representation of inner voyaging and outer journeying ... of life.
The print measures 12 " x 12" (30cm x 30cm) and comes beautifully mounted (16" x 16")
