The Angel and the Elephant Limited Edition Print

This piece is based on a strong dream. The elephant has been a recurring animal guide in my dreams, and the guidance always seems to be to 'follow the elephant'. In this dream I was walking through a deep forest following a beautifully adorned white elephant who appeared to be prepared for some type of ceremony. These elephant dreams have been with me for many years in different forms. I could also feel an angelic presence, a protective light, blue in colour within the forest, and here i have depicted this as an angelic figure.

The elephant is a gentle and wise Spirit animal who exemplifies power and strength. It is said that when the elephant begins making an appearance in your life it represents a new, improved relationship with the Sacred Feminine in all Her aspects. The elephant guides us toward a deeper understanding of the Maiden, Mother and Crone and helps us reconnect with our own positive feminine attributes. The elephant has the qualities of wisdom and courage, and indeed the dream felt to be healing, a conduit of wisdom if you like.
